That Cat Has Struck Again!

This is Star (aka That Cat).

She used to be a cute little thing.

I guess she still is a pretty cat. But today I think she is EVIL!

Look what she has done to my Navy Paws Scarf! I know, this is not a very good picture but navy blue is really hard to photograph up close. Now, I think of myself as an above average knitter and I am pretty good at fixing what she decides is hers to play with. I think this one I'm going give up on. It's right above the bottom border of the scarf and I was already half way through it. The whole corner of the scarf is pulled tight and no longer resembles lace and is just not worth my time and effort to fix. I'll frog it and save what I can of the yarn for another day.

BTW, it's not ALL her fault, I did leave it out unprotected....... ;-)

Grey Shetland Handspun/Navy Paws Scarf

Here is some grey shetland handspun I've recently finished. Once washed/weighed and tagged it will go up for sale in my Etsy Shop

And, here is a peek at my newest knitting project. This is another Paws to Remember scarf from Fiber Trends. This is the same pattern I used to make Stephen's Scarf. I'm using some navy blue Cascade 220 from my stash. This will also be added to my Etsy Shop when finished.

It's Been Resurrected!

Feather & Fan Pi ShawlAfter a long pause I'm back to work on this shawl! There are only about 50 rounds left to knit on it so it shouldn't take long to complete. This is the first of my unfinished projects I've vowed to complete this year!

Above is a before blocking picture of Stephen's Scarf. Below is showing the scarf pinned out for blocking. Once the scarf has dried I'll add a completed picture. And then ship it off to Stephen!

I am a Shetland addict. I am a wool addict. I am a yarn addict. I love to spin, knit and raise sheep. I am owned by Emily and Rabb, my Border Collies who love to help me with the sheep. When I'm not knitting, spinning or taking care of my sheep, I work from home designing websites and as a XanGo Independent Distributor.
