BAD EMILY........

No dinner for us tonight. It was going to be delicious too! Emily decided it needed to be taste tested while it was waiting to go into the oven. She has NEVER EVER done anything like this before. I know it wasn't because she was hungry either as I had just fed her this afternoon and I watched her eat it all. Guess I'll have to remember this the next time I'm cooking dinner. Poor Bob, I promised him a home cooked dinner tonight. Guess we go out again.......darn! ;-)

Thanks Shepherdchik!!!

Look at the awesome yarn I won from
Shepherdchik's Bloggapalooza!

I can't wait to start knitting something lacy with it. The colors are absolutely beautiful, you'll have to thank Rosita for me!

I've been a bad blogger......

It seems that once I got out of the habit of blogging some what regularly it doesn't come back very quickly. Of course I've had reasons. Like the almost 3 weeks I spent on vacation and then there was my daughter's wedding. Now we're into fall clean up and preparations for breeding groups, not to mention that winter is coming sooner than later. There was also the mess I came home to at work, the woman who was to cover for me wasn't able to and left me with a lot of catch up. Oh!! One more! We are now in the midst of the paper work necessary to build our house this spring. I know, seems like its taking a long time to build this house! But it's going to be a VERY nice house!

The trip was fantastic and I'd love to share photos of it but I still don't have them. There were technical difficulties. So, I'll wait to share until I can SHOW you some of it.

The wedding was also fantastic. I do have some photos of it but unfortunately not in a format I can use to post. You see my BIL Jim took wonderful pictures at both the wedding ceremony and the reception and made this great DVD for us. But I can't pull any of his pics off of it. Suffice it to say, Kelly and David had a great wedding and are now very happy newlyweds.

As to my health, I am definitely on the mend! I have been seeing a PT and doing the exercises she has set me up with. I'm also going to the gym pretty regularly and I'm getting stronger. I'm taking my supplements and eating as organically as I can. I still need to take this excess weight off and I have plans to do so this winter. If all goes well I'll be in great shape this spring for lambing!

Thanks for your patience with this very BAD blogger!!

I am a Shetland addict. I am a wool addict. I am a yarn addict. I love to spin, knit and raise sheep. I am owned by Emily and Rabb, my Border Collies who love to help me with the sheep. When I'm not knitting, spinning or taking care of my sheep, I work from home designing websites and as a XanGo Independent Distributor.
